Writing is a skill that our children need to be trained for by doing lots of practice . It is not like something that one fine day they will start writing numbers and letter with a pen or pencil.

Salt writing trays aka the BEST way to start practicing handwriting. I still remember doing this activity with my then 3 yrs old and we practiced and practiced lines and shapes and some letters.

#3 – TRACING WITH QTIPS
I can’t tell you enough good things about using q-tips to support handwriting. Why are they so great ? Here are a few reasons –
- Works on fine motor skills
- Develops and strengthens the pencil grip – which is very very important
- Improves hand – eye coordination
- Strengthens hand muscles
